“Artifacts of imaginary civilizations were the focus of my work for years, but my art projects span a wide range, from costumes and parade floats to floating mobile fish and fluff ships. Chickens and quilts have also populated my creative life for. This is where my work and Rolf’s work overlap. We have had many treasure hunt and community event collaborations, the first of which was our Viking canoe (in which we paddled away from the site of our wedding. ) I have making skills to help manifest some of Rolfs notions.”

I am a lover and creator of treasure maps and cryptograms, book -codes, anagrams, and puzzlers.( I also sell old books written by Vermont authors, or that were published here, in Brattleboro. ) Together with Cynthia Houghton, my wife, I have created treasure hunts for people’s weddings and birthday parties.”
